IPOs closing today
Today is the last day to bid for two IPOs. Applications through UPI usually have to be placed and the mandate approved before the bank cut-off in the afternoon, so do not leave it to the last minute.
Fusion CX IPO
Fusion CX is a customer experience (CX) and business process solutions provider offering multichannel customer support through voice, email, chat, social media, and messaging. The ₹702 Cr issue combines a fresh issue of ₹500 Cr, which goes to the company, and an offer for sale (OFS) of ₹202 Cr by existing shareholders, so about 71% of the money raised reaches the business. Promoter holding falls from 99.03% to 81.82% after the issue.
The price band is ₹275 – 289 a share; one lot of 51 shares costs ₹14,739 at the upper price. Bidding runs from Wed, 14 Oct to Fri, 16 Oct, the basis of allotment is expected on Mon, 19 Oct and the shares are due to list on Thu, 22 Oct on BSE, NSE.
In the grey market, the shares last traded at a premium (GMP) of ₹21.5, 7.4% above the upper price, which points to a listing around ₹310.5. GMP is unofficial and can change quickly; see the live IPO GMP table.
By Thu, 15 Oct, 4:57 PM, the issue was subscribed 1.10x overall (QIB 0.05x, NII 1.45x and retail 3.72x), as per NSE data for bids on both exchanges.
The company plans to use the fresh issue money for:
- Repayment/prepayment, in full or in part, of certain outstanding borrowings availed by (i) the Company; (ii) certain Subsidiaries (direct and certain step-down subsidiaries): about ₹275.70 crore
- Investment in step-down subsidiaries, Omind Technologies Inc. and Omind Technologies Pvt.Ltd., for upgrading IT tools, i.e., Arya and MindVoice: about ₹61.15 crore
- Pursuing inorganic growth through unidentified acquisitions and other strategic initiatives and general corporate purposes
