Oil marketing companies have reduced the price of 19-kg commercial LPG cylinders by up to ₹209, offering relief to restaurants, hotels, caterers and other businesses that regularly use cooking gas.
According to reports citing ANI, the price has been reduced by ₹209 in Kolkata and ₹202 in Delhi. After the revision, a commercial LPG cylinder will cost approximately ₹2,872.50 in Kolkata and ₹2,728 in Delhi.
This is the second consecutive monthly reduction in commercial LPG prices. The latest cut may help food and hospitality businesses lower their operating expenses.
However, consumers using domestic LPG cylinders have received no price relief. The price of the 14.2-kg household LPG cylinder remains unchanged.
Commercial LPG prices are revised periodically based on factors such as international fuel prices, supply conditions, import costs and currency movements.
