“Nifty Touches 14-Month High; Sensex Approaches All-Time Peak”
Nifty Hits Record High; Sensex Nears All-Time Peak Mumbai, November 27, 2025 – India’s stock market extended its rally on Thursday, with the Nifty hitting an all-time high of 26,295.55 and the Sensex rising 313.38 points to 85,922.89 in early trade. Top gainers included Bajaj Finance, Bajaj Finserv, ICICI Bank, Larsen & Toubro, Asian Paints, and Mahindra & Mahindra, while Eternal, Kotak Mahindra Bank, UltraTech Cement, and Maruti were among the laggards. The rally was supported by positive global trends, growing hopes of a U.S. Fed rate cut, and strong foreign fund inflows. On Wednesday, FIIs bought equities worth ₹4,778 crore, and DIIs purchased ₹6,248 crore. Global markets were also upbeat, with Asian indices trading higher and U.S. markets posting gains on expectations of softer interest rates and renewed policy optimism.
