A new report by global brokerage Bernstein suggests that the rapid adoption of Artificial Intelligence (AI) could impact developed economies more than India and other emerging markets.
According to the report, developed countries have a larger share of white-collar and administrative jobs that are more vulnerable to AI-driven automation. In contrast, economies like India still rely heavily on services, manufacturing, and labor-intensive sectors, making them relatively less exposed to immediate AI disruption.
Bernstein believes AI will create challenges for some jobs but could also boost productivity, innovation, and economic growth over the long term. For India, the focus will be on upskilling workers and using AI as a tool to enhance efficiency rather than replace large sections of the workforce.
Do you think AI will create more jobs than it eliminates over the next decade?
Global brokerage Bernstein ki ek report ke mutabik, Artificial Intelligence (AI) ka sabse zyada asar America aur Europe jaise developed economies par pad sakta hai, jabki India aur doosre emerging markets par iska impact comparatively kam rehne ki sambhavna hai.
Report ke anusar developed countries mein white-collar aur office-based jobs zyada hain, jinhe AI aasani se automate kar sakta hai. Wahin India ki economy abhi bhi services, manufacturing aur labor-intensive sectors par kaafi had tak nirbhar hai, jisse turant job disruption ka risk kam mana ja raha hai.
Experts ka maanna hai ki AI kuch jobs ko replace zarur karega, lekin saath hi productivity aur naye opportunities bhi create karega. India ke liye sabse bada challenge workforce ko AI-ready banana hoga.
Aapko kya lagta hai — AI zyada jobs create karega ya jobs khatam karega?
