A small TCS Nashik BPO unit, with just around 170 employees, has come under massive national scrutiny after multiple FIRs were filed alleging workplace misconduct, harassment, and hostile work conditions.
According to reports, the case involves nine FIRs and multiple accused employees, with allegations ranging from inappropriate behavior and mental harassment to religious comments and workplace abuse. A Special Investigation Team (SIT) has been formed to investigate the matter in detail.
Interestingly, what began as complaints within a small office unit has now escalated into a major corporate and public controversy, triggering protests, police presence, and internal investigations by TCS.
The company has responded by initiating a full-scale probe, suspending accused employees, and appointing external legal and audit firms to ensure transparency. Despite being a tiny operational unit in a global IT giant, the case has raised serious questions about workplace safety, HR systems, and complaint handling mechanisms.
