Sensex Jumps 600 Points, Nifty Crosses 24,500 as Oil Prices Ease and Global Cues Turn Positive

Indian stock markets opened sharply higher on Tuesday, with the Sensex rising over 600 points to 79,120 and the Nifty climbing 167 points to 24,531 in early trade.

The rally was driven by easing crude oil prices, positive Asian market cues, and strong buying in banking stocks. Brent crude cooled towards the $94–95 per barrel range, giving relief to investors after recent concerns around Middle East tensions and supply disruptions.

Financial stocks led the upmove, with private banks and NBFCs showing strong momentum. Buying was also seen across realty, metal, auto, and infrastructure sectors, while India VIX declined, indicating lower near-term market fear.

Analysts now see 24,500 as an immediate resistance zone, and a sustained move above this level may open the door for the next rally leg.

Do you think Nifty can sustain above 24,500 and move towards 25,000 this week?
