HCL Technologies shares witnessed a sharp sell-off today, falling more than 8–9% intraday, after the company reported a weaker-than-expected Q4 performance and issued soft FY27 guidance.
The IT major guided FY27 revenue growth at just 1% to 4% in constant currency, which came below Street expectations. Along with this, concerns around weaker discretionary spending, client ramp-downs, and project delays led several brokerages including JPMorgan, HSBC, and others to cut target prices.
The stock touched near ₹1,300 levels, wiping out almost ₹38,000 crore in market capitalization in a single session. The sell-off also dragged the broader Nifty IT index lower, impacting peer stocks like Infosys and TCS.
Investors are now closely watching whether this correction turns into a long-term buying opportunity or if more downside remains due to sector-wide IT demand pressure.
Do you think HCL Tech’s sharp fall is a buying opportunity for long-term investors?
Aaj HCL Tech ke shares mein heavy selling dekhne ko mili aur stock 8–9% se zyada gir gaya, kyunki company ka Q4 result aur FY27 guidance market expectations se weak raha.
Company ne FY27 ke liye sirf 1%–4% revenue growth guidance di hai, jo Street estimate se kaafi kam hai. Saath hi client spending slowdown, project delays aur kuch ramp-downs ki wajah se JPMorgan, HSBC aur dusri brokerages ne target prices cut kar diye.
Stock lagbhag ₹1,300 ke aas-paas aa gaya, aur ek hi session mein करीब ₹38,000 crore market cap wipe out ho gaya. Iska impact poore IT sector par bhi dekhne ko mila, jahan Infosys aur TCS bhi pressure mein rahe.
Ab investors ke liye bada sawal ye hai ki kya ye long-term buying ka mauka hai ya IT sector mein aur weakness aa सकती hai.
Aapko kya lagta hai — HCL Tech ka ye dip long-term buying opportunity hai ya aur गिरावट aayegi?
