Trump Says Iran War Will End Quickly, Repeats Red Line on Nuclear Weapons

US President Donald Trump has said that the ongoing Iran conflict will be “over quickly,” while once again stressing that Tehran must never possess nuclear weapons.

Trump stated that negotiations between the US and Iran are moving forward, and officials from both sides are reportedly discussing a possible peace framework to reduce tensions in the Middle East.

At the same time, Trump maintained a tough stance on Iran’s nuclear programme, saying any agreement would require strict guarantees that Iran cannot develop nuclear weapons in the future.

Reports suggest the US and Iran are currently discussing a proposed 14-point framework that may include sanctions relief, restrictions on uranium enrichment, and steps to stabilize shipping routes around the Strait of Hormuz.

Global markets reacted positively to signs of diplomatic progress, with crude oil prices falling and equity markets recovering on hopes that tensions in the region may ease soon.

However, major disagreements still remain over Iran’s nuclear activities and regional influence, meaning the final outcome of negotiations is still uncertain.

Do you think the US–Iran conflict is really close to ending, or could tensions rise again anytime?
