HAL Shares Crash 11% in 3 Days! Weak Q4 Margins Trigger Heavy Selling Despite Profit Growth

HAL Shares Crash 11% in 3 Days! Weak Q4 Margins Trigger Heavy Selling Despite Profit Growth

Shares of Hindustan Aeronautics Limited witnessed sharp selling pressure as the stock fell nearly 11% in the last three trading sessions. The decline came after investors reacted negatively to the company’s Q4 FY26 results and weaker-than-expected operating margins.

Although HAL reported a 5.5% rise in quarterly profit to around ₹4,196 crore and revenue growth of nearly 2%, analysts highlighted concerns over margin pressure, slower execution, and manufacturing activity. EBITDA margins dropped to nearly 36.3% from 38.6% last year, which impacted investor sentiment.

Brokerages remain divided on the stock. While some firms flagged weak profitability and execution delays, others continue to stay bullish due to HAL’s strong defence order book, Tejas Mk1A delivery expectations, and long-term defence sector growth story.

Experts believe the next major triggers for HAL stock will be aircraft delivery timelines, margin recovery, and updates related to defence contracts and GE Aerospace engine supplies.

👉 Do you think HAL’s recent fall is a temporary correction or a warning sign for defence stocks?
